Technology of the demonstration complex POLIVIZOR – FOG SCREEN:
Polivizor enables creating a three-dimensional image directly in the air, right in front of visitors' eyes. It forms a "live" volumetric 3D image in the air - without any "solid" projection screens. The image or video created by Polivizor truly "floats" in the air and appears very realistic. Only pure distilled water is used to "refuel" Polivizor.
The "air screen" of Polivizor consists of a specially prepared, vortex-protected thin air flow saturated with water mist.
This "air screen" feels dry and cool to the touch, and when there is no image, it is almost invisible to the human eye. A projector displays a specially prepared image onto it. The brightness of the light flow is at least 6,000 ANSI lumens.
The image generated by Polivizor can be perceived even in daylight; however, its quality improves with reduced room lighting (minimization of external parasitic light). A dark background enhances color reproduction and contrast. The Polivizor image is well-visible from a distance, and it is recommended to install the device so that it can be seen by viewers approaching from at least 3 meters away.

Visually, the image created by PoliVizor appears three-dimensional, although it is not. It is not possible to create a hologram this way. However, the projection and screen features make this effect very realistic. The optimal viewing distance is 2–10 meters, but experts recommend setting up screens so viewers can watch from a greater distance. PoliVizor allows clear viewing of images located approximately 50 meters away.
During operation, it is important to remember that PoliVizor creates an image with a 120-degree viewing angle both vertically and horizontally. The projection itself is made from a dense airflow containing tiny moisture droplets.
Does PoliVizor make noise during operation?
For many, it is important that equipment operates quietly. Does PoliVizor meet these requirements? The noise level emitted during air screen operation does not exceed 40 dB. Nearby viewers will not hear the system, creating the impression that the image is simply floating in the air!
Are there any limitations for power connection?
To connect and operate PoliVizor, traditional conditions are required—220V/50Hz. The maximum power level required by the air screen is 700 W. Compared to other screens, the equipment is not energy-intensive.
What projector or multimedia player is needed for PoliVizor to work?
The air screen differs from many systems in that it creates a bright and sharp image, providing the full impression of a 3D effect. What to do if the room with PoliVizor is smoky?

Can PoliVizor be used outdoors?
Can the air screen be installed outdoors? PoliVizor works excellently in open spaces, but it is best used in the evening during clear weather, with no strong winds. In bright sunlight, the image will be poorly visible, so the screens are used in the evening or at night. However, it is recommended to install the system indoors, as wind gusts can reduce the quality of the effect.
The best place to use PoliVizor is in a spacious room with high ceilings. Ventilation should be excellent, and drafts and air currents are unacceptable. Screens should be placed away from air conditioners and heaters. The air humidity level in the room without condensation should range from 0% to 99%, and the air temperature can be between 10°C and 40°C.

What image is visible from the side or back of the screen?
PoliVizor is not designed to be viewed from the back or the sides. However, even when viewed from behind, the same video image as on the front side is visible. It will not be as bright and will be displayed in an inverted mirror projection. If viewed from the side, near the output nozzles of the laminators, only a thin 2 cm light strip, slightly shimmering, will be noticeable.

The projection is created on a thin stream of air saturated with water mist. It is impossible to protect the air screen from strong winds or drafts, so it can only be used in clear weather or indoors.
The mist stream extends over a height of more than 3 meters, but the projection uses approximately 1.5 meters of this stream. This is the densest and most uniform part, located closer to the floor. The mist screen feels completely dry to the touch; when passing through it, a person will only feel a slight coolness. If no image is being projected, the air stream is almost invisible. This creates the unusual visual effect of the image seemingly floating in the air.
How is the "floating" image visual effect achieved?
How does the image appear to float in the air? The mist screen is flat and very thin, and the image projected onto it is two-dimensional. Once the light stream enters the environment prepared for it, it gains a pseudo-3D appearance. As a result, viewers perceive it as a true volumetric image, similar to a hologram.
This is achieved by preparing special video material during shooting, where the modeled image moves along specific trajectories. To the human eye, it appears volumetric, realistic, and vivid. No special glasses or other devices are required to achieve this effect.
Why does the image appear to consist of separate stripes?
Why does the image sometimes appear to be made up of separate stripes? The air stream moves at a speed of 1-2 m/s, creating many parallel thin mist streams. This technology produces the striped structure of the screen and the resulting image. This effect, noticeable when the screen is launched, does not interfere with perception, especially if the audience is at a significant distance from PoliVizor.
Is PoliVizor similar to a humidifier, and will it increase room humidity?
When the system is turned on, special ultrasonic emitters start working to create mist. This technology is also used in modern humidifiers. The mist screen has moisture particles measuring 5 microns. These particles carry the same electric charge, so they repel each other instead of clumping into larger water droplets.
Moisture does not accumulate on surfaces, and no water particles form in the air. This system prevents the creation of excessive humidity levels in the room, and water droplets do not settle on surrounding objects. Clothes remain dry, makeup stays intact, and only a cool, dry flow is felt.
The mist particles fill the space and remain suspended in the air until they lose their charge, at which point they fall to the floor and evaporate.
